Truth or Lies, a new party video game, has recently been announced by THQ for all the three major game consoles, the Nintendo Wii, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, this fall. In this new title, gamers will be joined by their friends and family for a truth-or-dare type of gameplay that the developer promises will challenge them to answer many interesting and thought-provoking questions.

THQ boasts that this new release will contain a new technology that enables the measurement of the players' stress levels through their voices utilizing any microphone available for the game consoles. This will be employed to determine if the answers to the questions the game asks are truthful or not. The maximum number of players allowed will be eight and 3,000 questions will be included at the time of the launch. Also, a Hot Seat mode was announced that will allow the users to ask their friends and family whatever they want and see if they are honest about the answer.

Casual and core gamers alike will be able to enjoy other party installments from THQ in 2011, when Wheel of Fortune's and Jeopardy's new electronic incarnations will reach the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS. The license for these was recently acquired from Sony Pictures Consumer Products. The Wii version will be compatible with the Wii Speak accessory.

THQ's upcoming releases include UFC Undisputed 2010, the official game for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. A mixed martial arts combat title, it will upgrade last year's very successful iteration with an updated fighter roster and various gameplay enhancements and changes. These will include improved controls that will enable players to better execute the clinch and ground grappling moves, a refined career mode and the introduction of new fighting styles. The release date is soon, on the 25th of May, this year, on Sony's PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable and on Microsoft's Xbox 360.
