Asus has managed to keep itself quite busy lately, releasing a fairly large product lineup during CeBIT 2011, and it seems that the list of announcements is far from over, since the company's just brought forward a couple of new and interesting additions to its Designo ML Series of LED monitors.

The three new models unveiled by ASUS are the 21.5-inch ML229H, 23-inch ML239H, and, finally, the 24-inch ML249H, all of which share a couple of interesting features, such as IPS (In-Plane Switching) and VA (Vertical Alignment) panels, that deliver a seriously enhanced level of image quality, as well as some other extra features on the side.

So, the new ASUS monitors (all of which support Full HD, 1920 x 1080 pixels resolutions) also deliver 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles, as well as 50,000,000:1 contrast ratios (don't get overexcited though, this is only the dynamic contrast ratio value, though).

Moreover, the three new monitors from ASUS also pack both DVI and HDMI interfaces, meaning that users will be able to connect multiple video content sources to it.

Also, they're quite eco-friendly, given the fact that they offer an Eco-Mode capable of cutting energy consumption by 55%.

Apart from their actual display-related capabilities, the new Designo ML Series monitors are also extremely attractive from the point of view of their external design, featuring not only a slim form factor, but also a double ring stand for easy tilt and swivel adjustments.

It's also interesting to mention that the ASUS monitors are controlled via LED touch buttons, placed right on their glossy black bezels.

Sadly, while the latest additions to the Designo ML Series are extremely interesting and will most likely get would-be customers buzzing, ASUS has refrained from providing any pricing and/or availability details for the time being, but we certainly hope that they'll decide to do so in the near future.
