The Android Market is the place where the owners of a mobile phone that runs under Google's mobile operating system can get a wide range of software solutions for their handsets, this is a well known fact. The storefront has seen a great deal of application additions lately, and now the total number of solutions available for download is said to be of a little over 16,000.

The figure is said to come from Google themselves, as a response to some of the latest reports around the Internet, which claimed that the Android Market would have more than 20,000 apps available for its users. While a little lower, the number still looks impressive, and shows that there are a great deal of developers supporting the operating system already.

Some of the latest apps that made it into the storefront include a beta flavor of the Fandango solution, as well as an Evernote final version. The first of the new apps offers users the possibility to learn more on movies, watch trailers, or purchase tickets for movie shows. As for Evernote, the app has been released in beta earlier this year, and now the improved final version of the software is here for Android users.

Fandango is said to be an application that offers users a wide range of options when it comes to the purchase of tickets for a movie or another. Compared to other similar solutions, the app is said to include a few more options, and should prove as a great choice also due to the fact that it comes for free. Those who would like to learn more on the app can either head to the company's website for that, or they can simply look for the application in the Android Market and give it a try.

“Use Evernote to save your ideas, things you see, and things you like. Then find them all on any computer or device you use. For free,” is how the second application we've mentioned is described on the company's website. One can easily understand what the application is all about: you can easily remember all things that matter through using the software solution, while also having the possibility to organize notes in a simple manner, as well as to find what is of interest pretty fast.
