According to a recently released Samsung Analyst Day presentation, the Korean manufacturer is preparing a new APS-C sensor for their NX mirrorless camera series.

The new sensor will arrive sometime in 2014-2015 and will come as a replacement for the current 20.3MP sensor used in the past few years to power all their NX mirrorless digital cameras.

Last week Samsung also announced their first Tizen OS-powered digital camera, the NX300M, which is said to have a booting time twice as fast as its Linux-based competitors.

In addition to that, a new Samsung mirrorless camera model has been spotted on Samsung's support website, named NXF1. This might be Samsung's first full frame mirrorless camera expected to be announced sometime next year.
