Rumors that E-TEN is working on a new Pocket PC have been confirmed by some details as well as pictures of the handset on the Internet.

The new device, called G500, has a design almost similar to the previous model - the M600. The technical characteristics of the G500 also resume those of the recent M600 with the exception of the WiFi, which apparently has been replaced by an integrated SiRFStarIII GPS receiver.

The quad-band GSM G500 will be equipped with a 2,8" QVGA TFT display with 65k colors with a resolution of 320 x 240, Samsung S3C2440A - ARM 9 400MHz processor, GPRS Class B, 128MB of Flash ROM and 64 MB SDRAM memory, slot of expansion miniSD, Bluetooth 1.2 class 2 (A2DP Profile supported) technology, integrated receiver GPS SiRFStarIII, 1.3megapixel camera with Flash.

The G500 is expected to be available by the end of March, 2006, but there's still no official confirmation of the release date.
