14 DAY TRIAL // To get fans ready for the “feel bad movie of Christmas,” Sony has just released a brand new international trailer for the highly anticipated “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.”
Starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara as unlikely associates and lovers Mikael Blomkvist and Lisbeth Salander, the film is actually a remake of the Swedish film of the same name based on Stieg Larsson’s best-selling novel from the “Millennium” trilogy.
The new trailer doesn’t offer more details than the previously released one; in fact, if anything, it’s a condensed version of the 4-minute clip that came out earlier this year.
It does, however, confirm that director David Fincher is determined to make it up to those who go in theaters already knowing the ending (either because they read the book or seen the original film), by delivering a visual masterpiece.
The score by Trent Reznor will most definitely help as well.
