Mobile phone maker Motorola Mobility has been long rumored to plan the launch of new, highly appealing Android devices in its X Phone lineup, and it seems that some more details on the matter are now available.

The latest rumors on Motorola’s plans for the Android space suggested that it might be set to bring to shelves a certain XT1055 handset in the not too distant future, but it seems that this might have been only one of the models that the company was working on.

The XT1055 is now said to be accompanied by devices such as XT1053, XT1056, and XT1058 as well, which might be different flavors of the same smartphone.

In fact, a recent post on Blog of Mobile suggests that this smartphone is none other than the Motorola Ghost that was rumored a while back.

The phone is also said to feature a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and to run under Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, as a recent benchmarking listing showed.

The smartphone is expected to arrive on shelves at AT&T in the United States along with two other Motorola smartphones, codenamed Sasquatch and Yeti, both of which were rumored before as well, also powered by the 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

Additionally, Ghost is said to be en route to other wireless carriers in the United States as well, including T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon, which supposedly explains the various model numbers spotted for it.

Furthermore, Motorola is said to be working on a handset featuring model number XT1080, which has yet to be detailed, it seems.

For the time being, however, no official info on any of said smartphones has been provided, and it remains to be seen what hardware specs they will feature when launched, and whether they will pan out to be the aforementioned X Phones from Motorola or not. Keep an eye on this space for additional details on the matter.
