Windows Phone Mango, the next flavor of Microsoft's mobile operating system, should soon arrive on shelves on a nice range of new devices, and the already rumored HTC Eternity would be one of them. Rumor has it that the new device might be unveiled to the world as soon as today, and that it would be a new flagship handset from the Taiwanese company, following the release of HD7 last year.

While nothing was officially confirmed on this device until now, a new photo with it allegedly leaked into the wild, offering a new, better glimpse at what HTC should bring to the market in the near future.

The upcoming Windows Phone 7.5 smartphone should arrive on shelves with upgraded specifications when compared to the previous Windows Phone handsets from HTC.

For example, it is expected to pack a 1.5GHz application processor, complemented by a large 4.7-inch touchscreen display.

Moreover, it is expected to bring along a front-facing camera, which will mark the debut of video calling capabilities on Windows Phone, a feature that Mango was already confirmed to support.

It might not be as large as the screen on Samsung's new Galaxy Note, but the display on HTC Eternity would certainly be one of the main selling points for the new device.

No specific details on when the smartphone would be arriving on shelves emerged until now, but we know that it might be called HTC Titan when what would happen.

Earlier today, the mobile phone was spotted at the FCC, suggesting that it might not be too long before it is released on the US market with GSM connectivity options.

The new Windows Phone Mango OS flavor will bring new features and capabilities to HTC's handset, and will also open the door for new applications and services for users to enjoy while on the go.

Hopefully, we will be able to learn all of the necessary info on the new smartphone and on the features it comes with before the day is over, so stay tuned for more.
