Brace yourself for a (dead) shark attack: as interest in SyFy’s “Sharknado” sequel continues to increase, the network has released a brand new trailer for another shark movie, “Ghost Shark.”

It is embedded above and, for once, I feel like a warning for ridiculousness would be in order.

The premise of the new film, which airs on August 22, is that “a great white shark is tortured and killed by a fisherman, then returns from the dead, exacting vengeance on all humans.”

Because ghost sharks are much more dangerous than living sharks, the new trailer emphasizes how any kind of water can help it kill, hence the tagline “if you’re wet, you’re dead.”

Whether it’s rainwater or the water of a lake or even a pool, it’ll work for this particular killer shark to appear and claim its victim.

“Sharknado” proved an unexpected hit with the audiences because it was too ridiculous to be overlooked. We’ll see if adding more ridiculousness to the equation translates into even bigger ratings.
