Xbox users are - again - treated to so much more than PS3 owners are

To ease some of the pain brought by the banning and high ratings of Manhunt 2, Rockstar has been focusing lately on GTA IV and Nintendo consoles. Thus (no, they're not making a GTA IV for the Wii or DS, not yet anyway), the developer has announced they'll be rolling out the game's second trailer tomorrow, for Xbox 360 gamers, via Xbox Live of course. They've also revealed two new screenshots of the game in action (left, click to enlarge).

Xbox 360 gamers will be able to download Rockstar Games' second trailer for the much anticipated Grand Theft Auto IV (launching on PS3 and Xbox 360 for the time being). The trailer has been dubbed "Looking For That Special Someone," becoming available on Xbox.com at 6 pm (for the British). Xbox Live users will be able to download the high definition version of the second GTA IV trailer, on XBL Marketplace. PC users who want the HD version will have to visit Rockstargames.com/IV. As I found in an official report today, the first trailer, released in March, whetted the appetites of millions of gamers worldwide, having become one of the most downloaded trailers to date on Xbox Live Marketplace.

But this is not all Xbox Live users are getting this evening, as Rockstar has decided to treat them even better with a new exclusive Grand Theft Auto IV theme and some gamer pics (also downloadable via Xbox Live Marketplace).

Wondering why Xbox 360 gamers are getting so much, while the PS3's name doesn't even appear in official reports, even though the game has been slated for a release on Sony's console as well? Well, if you remember, seeing that Xbox Live is a pretty profitable service, Rockstar have decided a little while ago to also treat its users to some exclusive GTA IV episodic content, through Xbox Live.

Anyway, the game is still on for a 19th October release for the Xbox 360 and while the game now comes in a Special Edition pack, complete with duffel bag and safety deposit box, I don't see why you shouldn't decide on a 360 right now. I'll tell you why: because it breaks all the time.
