Publisher Capcom has unveiled three new titles at the Tokyo Games Show, offering the first details on three new video game that are in development and set to arrive during the coming years: Devil May Cry, abbreviated as DmC, Asura's Wrath and Dead Rising 2: Case West.

The new Devil May Cry will be created in collaboration with Ninja Theory and is set to arrive on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and on the PlayStation 3 from Sony.

The new game is set during modern times with series protagonist Dante driven on by revenge for past evils.

The main character has undergone quite a heavy redesign which might not endear the developer and publisher to long time fans of the series.

The signature gameplay of the series, which includes a mix of close quarter combat and shooting, will return but the characters will get new weapons, new magic powers and a host of new enemies.

Capcom also promises a more interactive environment which needs to be explored to get all the secrets of the game and will offer more tactical options to gamers.

Creative control on the new DmC will lie with Tameen Antoniades from Ninja Theory with Hedeaki Itsuno overseeing development.

Asura's Wrath will be put together by CyberConnect 2 and is deeply inspired by Asian mythology that is mixed with science fiction.

Asura was a deity betrayed by her equals who discovers how to channel her rage in order to battle her enemies and destroy them.

The game will be split into episodes, with each showing how Asura progresses in the quest for vengeance.

Capcom also announced the creation of Dead Rising 2: Case West, a new game that will be delivered exclusively on the Xbox Live service for the Microsoft home console.

The game will enlarge the Dead Rising 2 experience by allowing protagonist Frank West to work together with Chuck Greene in a cooperative mode where the two can explore why the zombie out breaks are happening and which are the links between Fortune City and Willamette.
