More violence will arrive in the future

The Watchmen lineup of graphic novels is the most acclaimed series of comic books ever created, according to a lot of specialists. Its deep and intricate story coupled with the minute background stories on each and every character have made it a favorite for a lot of people around the world.

Now, as the movie has just been released and received with mixed results, the series’ first appearance in game form, Watchmen: The End Is Nigh, has also been received with different reactions by a lot of gamers. The brawler action title, while it looks stunning, hasn't really impressed through gameplay, though it has already seen quite a lot of downloads.

Now, courtesy of the ESRB, which has just finished rating the second episode of the game, “cleverly” entitled Watchmen: The End Is Nigh II, we can find out some interesting details about it. Besides the already classic violence present in the first title, it will also feature some more controversial content, as the two masked heroes, Rorschach and Nite Owl, will be hot on the heels of a villain that has molested an adult movie actress.

The two masked characters' adventures will even lead them to a night club filled with attractive dancers but also hostile bikers, gang members or various other thugs. But don't expect anything explicit as, according to the ESRB, which rated the game M for Mature, it will be limited to “moaning and suggestive dialog.”

Although the title could have been better, the game looks like it will offer almost the same kind of action as in the first episode, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Hopefully, the levels won't be quite as long and the two main characters will learn new moves, as their arsenal wasn't very rich in the first iteration and, although the animations were very good, they got old very fast.
