Activision and Infinity Ward have confirmed that they’ll release a brand new piece of content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 next week, on June 19, but the actual details will be revealed on Monday, June 18.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has received quite a lot of post-launch downloadable content, in form of drops that arrived for Call of Duty Elite premium members, or collections, which appeared for regular gamers.

Now, Elite subscribers are in for a new content drop next week, at least according to Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin, who posted on Twitter that the DLC arrives on June 19.

Sadly, no details are available as of yet, except that it includes a multiplayer map, a new Spec Ops mission and another “classified” download.

Rubin promised that a run-down of the drop is set to appear on Monday, June 18, so Call of Duty fans will have to wait a few more days.
