Infinity Ward, the studio behind the massively successful Call of Duty series, has posted a job listing for a Senior Network Engineer, who will work alongside the studio on an “exciting unannounced title for next generation console systems.”

Infinity Ward made a name for itself by creating the Call of Duty series but now the studio is apparently looking to branch out and has begun hiring new people for an unannounced project.

While this isn’t anything new, the job listing mentions that the new game will be released on next generation console systems, like the oft-rumored PlayStation 4 or Xbox 720.

What’s more, the position is for a Senior Network Engineer who’ll have to “design and implement high level network code,” so the new game will certainly have some sort of online multiplayer element.

As of yet, Infinity Ward hasn’t commented on the job listing, so who knows what this project is and when it might appear on these next-generation consoles.
