And dual-SIM functionality

There are not too many mobile phones available into the wild with a Buddhist design, yet it seems that they are getting increasingly popular these days, which means that more are to come in the near future. We have already seen a similar phone about a year and a half ago, and now another one shows up, available for purchase, only that the new phone, unlike the older one, sports a rather interesting design, as well as dual-SIM capabilities.

For starters, we should say that the C91 Dual-SIM handset comes in a flip form factor and looks very much like a compass, and not that much like a phone, at least when closed. Even so, the design it sports is meant to attract enthusiasts on its side, and will probably do so a lot. Moreover, it seems that style is not everything that its manufacturer thought about when developing it, and some of the phone features that we are already accustomed to seeing in our every-day devices are also there.

The specifications list of the C91 Dual-SIM shows a 2.0-inch display, a 1.3-megapixel photo snapper, MP3 / MP4 multimedia player, FM radio, GPRS, and Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, it supports the two SIM cards at the same time, which means that users won't be forced to switch it off and on again to make calls on one or on the other SIM card. The device can already be purchased in China, it seems, and it should be compatible with China Mobile's networks.

The fresh Buddha phone is also reported to come with a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space, though there are no details on the amount of additional memory it might support. When it comes to the supported network frequencies, GSM 900 / 1800 Mhz bands are on the list. As for the price of the handset, it seems to have been set at USD 122.73, which is not that much in the end. The phone is available in two color flavors, and can be seen listed for purchase here.
