Only a concept at the moment

There are a lot of interesting phone concepts that can be spotted into the wild, and a new one, namely the slider phone called the “Google-GO,” coming from Taiwanese designer Tryi Yeh, is one that deserves some attention. Although only a concept at the moment, the Google-GO handset has the power to catch the eye, especially given the fact that it comes as an experiment in phone ergonomics.

The new concept phone seems to fit the Android operating system perfectly, and shows a series of four big navigation buttons that allow users to quickly access email, web browsing and more, while also offering them the possibility to change their use according to what they are doing. Although the device comes in a sliding form factor, there is no physical keyboard present, which means that it should also come with a touchscreen keypad.

The back of the phone has been designed to slide so as to unveil a photo snapper, as well as the aforementioned smart keys. It also shows the presence of a set of speakers. Although futuristic, the design looks rather realistic, and we're sure that there are a lot of enthusiasts who would really love to grab such a device in case a manufacturer ever decides to come to the market with it.

The Google-GO concept phone does not come alone, but paired with a series of attractive accessories. One of them is an inductive charger that resembles a lot the Palm Touchstone designed for the newly launched Pre smartphone. As the photos show, the device would be able to function while plugged into the charger. Moreover, a dock that offers users the possibility to watch TV or other media files on the phone is also visible. In case it becomes reality, the Google GO concept will certainly be able to rival some of the highest-end devices on the market.
