The new NA-GX7 uses the latest Nauticam technology to deliver a lightweight, rugged, and easy to use underwater housing that provides quick access to all the functions of the camera and integrates at the same time the re-designed port locking latch similar to the one found on the firm's DSLR camera housings.
Nauticam NA-GX7 also comes with an integrated leak detector and vacuum check circuitry that will keep your camera safe and alert you if any leaks are detected. With this housing, you can submerge your Panasonic GX7 to a depth of up to 100m / 328ft.
Furthermore, the camera controls, including video recording, command dials, or EV control, can be easily accessed with one hand, while the left thumb can instantly activate or lower the built-in flash.
In terms of lens compatibility, the NA-GX7 can accommodate any optic that makes sense for underwater shooting, including the Panasonic Lumix G Fisheye 8mm F3.5, Panasonic Lumix G X Vario PZ 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Power OIS, Panasonic Leica DG Macro-Elmarit 45mm f/2.8 ASPH. MEGA OIS, Panasonic Leica Summilux DG 25mm F1.4, Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 II R, Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12mm 1:2 etc.
The new housing also comes with support for Nauticam's wide range of accessories, such as the NA-DP4 housing for the Small HD DP4 Monitor that uses an HDMI connection to render video image captured by the camera from a more comfortable position for the shooter. The monitor integrates extensive features like Focus Assist, Focus Peaking, 1:1 Mapping, False Color, etc.
