The companies collaborating on Def Jam Rapstar, 4mm Games, Def Jam Interactive and Terminal Reality have announced new songs, new artists and new producers that will appear in the new music simulation game which aims to deliver the true hip hop experience to gamers.

Here is the full list of new tracks that will be offered in Def Jam Rapstar: Diddy featuring The Notorious B.I.G., Lil’ Kim & The Lox - “It’s All About The Benjamins” (remix) Method Man featuring Mary J. Blige - “You’re All I Need/I’ll Be There For You” Nas featuring Diddy - “Hate Me Now” Nelly - “Hot In Here” Public Enemy - “Fight The Power” Wiley - “50/50”

There are also two new producers included in the game, with Danja offering “Nars” and Nitti Beats contributing “Hand's Up”.

Def Jam Rapstar is a unique concept because it only focuses on the hip hop genre and is interested in making a superstar out of every player who picks up the game. When launch date rolls around players will be able to enjoy more than 40 hip hop tracks, all of them delivered by important artists and producers. Gamers will need to master both rhythm and lyrics and create performances that are as close to reality as possible. They can then use a camera linked to their console and create a video that can then be uploaded to the official site of Def Jam Rapstar and can be shared with friends and rated by others.

Def Jam Rapstar will also include a Freestyle mode where the game only delivers instrumental tracks created by important hip hop artists with the player being tasked with creating his own lyrics and then integrating them into the beat, creating all new songs that can also be shared with the community. Def Jam Rapstar is set to be released on November 5 for the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii.
