Naruto Shippuuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 is the Wii-exclusive title of the video-game series that relies on Masashi Kishimoto popular manga and anime. The games of the series, made up of ten titles released on Nintendo's GameCube and Wii, are developed by Eighting and published by D3 Publisher and Tomy, and the latest addition, Revolution 3, as a licensed title, was received with very mixed critics.

Some reviewers praised the Wii graphics and the combat mechanics, while others complained about the simplicity of the game. Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 features 40 characters with designs based on the grown-up look of the Shippuuden series. The title offers several additional game modes besides the one that follows the original story arc of the anime, the rescue of the Kazakage Gaara, and even includes multiplayer capabilities via the Wi-Fi.

With not even a month since it was released, Tomy has now launched special tips and tricks for one of the game's most popular characters. The Anbu Kakashi, from before the Team 7 period, has received a special guide that delves into White Fang's special techniques, and details the combat potential of 14 other characters. The guide also features a gameplay footage of Hatake Kakashi using his Chidori, or Raikiri jutsu to break through guards, perform out of block stun justsu, as well as mid-air attacks. Other characters and their techniques are also detailed, offering inside information on tactics and fighting styles.

The Anbu days of Kakashi are mostly a mystery, and his only past exploits that are revealed by the manga and anime are the ones revealed in a special side story, the Kakasi Gaiden, but these take place well before him joining Anbu. While not actually explained, his days during the special group are viewed as ones of excellence, as can be interpreted from Yamato's respect for him, as well as everyone else's.

For those that have missed the manga spinoff as well the Naruto Shippuuden specials that go back to the early days of the master jonin, Kakashi Gaiden tells the story of how Kakashi obtains his famous Sharingan as well as that of his somewhat fanatical devotion and loyalty to his teammates. During the Kakasi Gaiden, his trademark technique, the Chidori, is also revealed for the first time, as the young shinobi is presented fighting in the great Ninja Wars.
