Namco Bandai, the publisher of the recent Enslaved: Odyssey to the West third person action game, has apologized to PlayStation3 owners that experienced problems when trying to purchase the first piece of downloadable content for the game, the Pigsy's Perfect 10 expansion.

According to the Japanese publisher, some PS3 owners encountered problems after paying for the add-on on the PlayStation Store.

They were unable to redeem their codes and start their download, even if the purchase was registered to their account.

According to Namco, users affected by this problem should contact the company for a new code.

"Namco Bandai are aware that a very small amount of consumers have been having issues with their PSN purchases of Pigsy's Perfect 10 for Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. This problem was quickly resolved last week and players are able to purchase and redeem codes as normal."

"However, if you have had a problem redeeming your code having purchased the DLC content on PSN, you are entitled to a replacement code which you can redeem by contacting [email protected] where you'll need to provide proof of purchase in the form of the 37 digit code you received when you purchased the content from the Playstation Store."

Namco also says that the problems have been fixed, and that all PlayStation 3 owners should encounter no issues when trying to purchase Pigsy's Perfect 10.

"Once again, the problem has been resolved and Pigsy's Perfect 10 is available for download from all UK and EIRE customers and Namco Bandai Partners apologize for any inconvenience caused."

The expansion, in case you haven't read the official announcement, adds a new batch of missions, starring Pigsy, one of the secondary characters in Enslaved's single-player story.

The add-on also packs in a special 3D mode, which allows players to experience once more the beautiful world of Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.
