Based on recent leaks, NVIDIA might be working on more than one tablet

Not so long ago, the purported next-gen NVIDIA tablet, accompanied by the upcoming NVIDIA Shield gaming device, was spotted making a stop at the FCC.

Sadly, other info didn't accompany the filing and oddly enough, this week, another mystery NVIDIA tablet has made an appearance (or maybe it’s the same that we saw not so long ago).

As Liliputing notes, the slate goes by the name of NVIDIA P1761W, but apart from the name, there is no other info available about it. Looking at the sketches, the tablet PC seems to be a very slim and sleek device with speakers or docking connectors located at the bottom.

The tab comes equipped with 802.11 Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and labels for the North America, European and the global version of the device are also visible.

It’s a mystery whether this is the next-gen NVIDIA Tegra Note tablet equipped with the company’s brand new and powerful Tegra K1 processor, or something else entirely. The device was spotted in a benchmark listing, so I assume it should appear at some point.

Earlier this year, NVIDIA showed a tablet reference design with full HD display resolution, its new K1 chip and 4GB of RAM.

There is also the possibility that this is the Shield Tablet that showed up on the NVIDIA website a few weeks ago.
