Invasion of Privacy and Disgaea

The PlayStation Portable Go, Sony's most recent handheld, is out now and one of its major selling points is that it gets all of its content from the PlayStation Network, which means that players do not need to carry around any UMD disks in order to enjoy their favorite videogames or videos. The console is equipped with a 16 GB hard drive to store content and players can also use memory sticks to store their content on the go.

Taking advantage of the launch of the new hardware is NIS America, which is re-releasing a significant portion of its videogames and adding a price cut in order to persuade owners of the PSP Go to pick up their games.

The titles that can be found on the PlayStation Store are Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?, Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light, Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This?, Dragoneer's Aria and Mana Khemia: Student Alliance. All are priced between 4.99 and 9.99 dollars, making them some of the cheapest games you can pick up right now on the PSN. They have the exact same features as when they were initially released on the last generation PSP.

NIS is also thinking about bringing other titles, like Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days, Aedis Eclipse: Generation of Chaos and Spectral Souls: Resurrection, to the PSN so that owners of Go handhelds can download them, but they are presumably waiting to see what the reaction is to the games that are now live.

Sony recently confirmed not planning to allow those who have PlayStation Portable UMD games to download them from the PSN because of legal and technical difficulties. Still, the company is offering players who pick up a Go the chance to get some free titles if they can prove they own at least a UMD title.
