Motorola DROID, the second Android-based handset launched by Motorola, and the first one launched on Verizon, comes to the market with a feature that many other touchscreen-enabled devices do not have: multi-touch. However, a part of the phone didn't come around with support for the technology, the browser, but now its owners can enjoy the capability when surfing over the Internet, courtesy of the Dolphin Browser, which has just been updated to support the feature.

The Dolphin browser has been available for download at the Android Market for quite some time now, yet it is only now that it sports multi-touch features for the Motorola DROID, which runs under Google's Android 2.0 operating system. One thing that is certain is that the owners of a DROID will be able to enjoy an enhanced experience when it comes to the Internet browsing capabilities of their devices.

The Dolphin browser comes around with a wide range of other features too, allowing you to: - Easily share what you find on the web or what you are up to. Post web pages and status updates to Twitter and Facebook, just with one click! - Comment on web pages you are visiting. - Discover what others are enjoying. - Find out what your friends is viewing and sharing - Dolphin looks for RSS feeds on every webpage you visit. When dolphin finds available feeds, the Feeds button will be shown. click notification or menu button, then subscript it with Google Reader. - Auto sync local bookmark with your Google. Access your favorites from your mobile phone and PC. - Integrate all sites list into start page, allow you to access site just by click.

Other features are also present with the software solution, and all the details that one would like to receive on it can be found here. However, a quick look at the video below will offer you the possibility to see the Dophin browser at work, with the multi-touch capabilities enabled.
