Mousepose is an essential tool for those doing presentations, demos etc. The application dims the screen and puts a spotlight on the area around the mouse pointer, easily guiding the audience‘s attention to an area of interest. A new version of Mousepose is now available, enabling users to define a list of custom keystrokes that will not be displayed when using keystroke display, among other enhancements.

Boinx Software has also added a new option to only show complete key combinations when modifier and keys are pressed. The developers were also able to find and remove a bug that caused Mousepose to crash at startup on some computers. As a result, Mousepose now boasts improved stability on Leopard.

With keystroke visualization, Mousepose makes it easy for an audience to see the keys you press, with some presentations actually depending on this. This way, viewers understand the demonstration much better. The tool is also useful for product demos and training. "Window highlighting" works just as well. When the Mouse stays over a window for more than a certain amount of time (configurable), the focus automatically expands and highlights the window.

Furthermore, as clicking the mouse is sometimes easily missed, Mousepose draws one, two, or three red circles around it (depending on the number of clicks). Left and right clicks have a different color. The user's ability to assign a sound to mouse clicks is even more helpful, thus further enabling the audience to stay focused.

Mousepose 3.1 is priced at $16.95. A family-pack license (five computers) is also available for $29.95. Existing users (buyers of Mousepose 2) can upgrade to version 3.1 for free.
