“Our customers are our top priority and we are constantly striving to improve the end-user experience. By teaming with Motorola over the past four years, we’ve been able to increase the performance and capacity of our iDEN network and deliver the consistently outstanding service that our Nextel customers depend on,” said Danny Bowman, president, Sprint Integrated Solutions Group.

Motorola describes its IOS solution as a comprehensive mix of expert resource, as well as market-leading analytical tools and a optimization methodology that results in efficient and measurable improvements when it comes to network performance. Moreover, the solution uses data-reporting features the network and handsets' usage generate, and is meant to eliminate the need of manual resource intensive drive-testing.
