Motorola has glamour in mind when thinking of this year's holidays - a special edition of the RAZR2 with 18k and 24k gold plated accents looks to steal the spotlight and shine with its luxurious materials.

It's not the first special edition of the Motorola RAZR2 and there are high chances that it will not be the last, either. Still, it might prove to be the priciest one, the only way that a mobile phone bathed in gold and clothed in snake-like skin could be.

The 12 mm slimness will be 18K gold-plated and emphasize the accents of the luminous, black slate, vacuum metal finish. The phone also has elegant pin stripes on the CLI lens, an engraved diamond-cut pattern on the sideband and a linear etching on the navigation wheel.

That should be enough for turning the user's mobile phone into a true bling-bling these holidays. Santa will have some really expensive shopping and deliveries to do for this Christmas if Motorola's plans turn out right.

Motorola RAZR2 brings some unique features that have managed to make it so popular up to this point. The CrystalTalkM Technology makes calls clearer, by automatically adjusting the audio controls to account for background noise. The large external display provides touch-sensitive music controls, self-portrait camera display and makes playlist management easy.

The phone also includes the Opera Mobile Browser 8.5 for easy and intuitive Web surfing. Moreover, the 2 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom should offer the basic in mobile photo and video capture. This multimedia phone includes Windows Media Player 11 and up to 2GB of internal personal files storage.

RAZR2 V8 Luxury Edition will be available in time for this year's holidays. Motorola made no comment concerning the price that it will come for, although it should be a pretty important aspect.
