Motorola Q9M has just broken through the telecom market after months of leaked images and rumors on future releases. Verizon Wireless will bring from now on this new solution for evolved multimedia experiences coming from Motorola.

The smartphone brings evolved solutions for easy media files handling and a full QWERTY keypad for easy text input. The phone includes a side-scroll thumbwheel for easy one-handed menu navigation, and dedicated keys for easy access to your favorite features like messaging, speakerphone and multimedia. All these are meant to enhance the user's experience and make the phone's functions even easier to use.

Motorola Q9M works on Windows Mobile 6, which makes it one of the most evolved smartphones available. This is only the start for the other evolved capabilities that the handset manages to provide. The list continues with EV-DO access for fast downloads of data, e-mail and large attachments. Moreover, the phone is also capable of voice-activated dialing, smart contacts dialing, speakerphone. Connectivity is available through Bluetooth wireless technology for certain profiles.

One disadvantage about Motorola Q9M is the fact that it manages to pack only a 1.3 megapixel camera. This manages to provide only average quality images, although it also has flash. The phone's internal memory is less important, as it also includes a microSD slot capable of supporting cards of up to 4 GB of storage, in order to provide enough space for all the pictures, videos, music, and sounds that the user might want to store in the device.

Motorola Q9M will be available in all Verizon Wireless Communications Stores starting with August 29. Its price will be of USD 300 after a USD 50 mail-in rebate and a two-year customer agreement. A special offer will bring Motorola Q9M in boxed sets with a 2GB microSD card and a stereo headset for an additional USD 50 or with a 4GB microSD card for an additional USD 150.
