A picture of Motorola's Q model found on Verizon's website appears to confirm the fact that Verizon will be the first carriers of the long awaited handset.

Motorola Q is a CDMA EV-DO Smartphone running on Windows Mobile 5. The phone features a TFT display supporting 320 x 240 pixel resolution in 65k colors and a full QWERTY keyboard. The multimedia part offers a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, capable of video recording and a music player that can play MIDI, MP3, AAC, WAV and WMA formats.

The handset has 64 MB of internal memory and supports memory expansion via miniSD cards. Connectivity is achieved via Bluetooth, Infrared and miniUSB. The Motorola Q is compatible with 800/1900 Mhz CDMA networks and benefits from the high transfer rates offered by EV-DO.

Motorola Q was supposed to be launched in April this year and now, the handset's picture on Verizon's site hints that the official release date is drawing near.
