Touchscreen and original (although bulky) look

Motorola has made a daring move with its Moto PHS PG2000 phone model, as it brings some design features that few other producers have used in their devices. The phone will be released on an exclusive market, with few chances of reaching a global scale.

What Moto PHS PG2000 brings in addition, compared to other similar devices, is to be found mostly in its design. The mobile phone has a transparent flip cover that protects the handset's 2/2 inch QVGA 260k color touchscreen. Although at a first look, the phone looks like a clamshell one, it soon proves to be anything but that. It still offers the great comfort of talking on an open flip phone model, but the benefits stop here.

Having the display screen come with touch sensitive capabilities leaves aside the need for a keypad. The phone has only two front buttons, one for activating the camera and the other as a media activation shortcut. The greatest disadvantage about this Moto PHS PG2000 phone model is that it looks rather bulky and unappealing. Its antenna sticks out, making it seem even larger and making this handset unable to compete with modern devices.

The mobile phone comes equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, only the average in current mobile phone performances. Still, let us not be picky, as this feature will manage to provide capture solutions at any time, in a device always at hand. The handset supports PHS and works in triband GSM networks too. Moreover, it also includes a microSD card slot, which brings the extra space that will prove to be useful to any user.

Moto PHS PG2000 will be available in red and black, although no exact date when this will happen has been revealed. Moreover, the market that this phone will reach is still unknown, although there are high chances for it to be only an exclusive one.
