Motorola Mobility has just announced that at this year’s CES fair, the company will introduce a new home gateway that was designed to take all the connected devices installed in a household and put them in the cloud.

This includes home control, home security and energy management appliances, which after being connected to the 4Home gateway can be controlled remotely from any Internet connected device including tablets or smartphones.

According to Motorola, the setup process is extremely simple as it requires just the press of a button for all these home gadgets to be paired wirelessly and connected to the cloud.

On the inside of the 4Home stands a powerful 1.2 GHz processor running Motorola’s open 4Home software platform, which supports and abstracts a host of standards and protocols as well as a robust back-end architecture.
