Motorola Mobility has just unveiled the Motorola FIRE, which is expected to be launched in Germany for €190

However, it looks like UK Android lovers might be able to grab this mid-budget smarpthone ahead of its German launch as major retailer Clove confirmed that it will soon sell the Motorola FIRE.

In fact the Motorola FIRE is already available for pre-order at Clove for £180 (VAT excluded), but according to the retailer the first stock is due to arrive in late September.

Although the price as well as the availability date of the Motorola FIRE are subjected to change, it is expected that the phone will be launched in more European countries in September.

Motorola FIRE is a budget smartphone powered by Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and equipped with a low-performance 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227-1 processor, complemented by an Adreno 200 GPU.

In addition, the bar handset comes with 2.8-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen display with 262k colors support and 240 x 320 pixels resolution.

Even though Motorola said that it dropped the Motorola BLUR user interface (or just the name), it appears that the FIRE comes with something called Moto Switch user interface, which looks very much like the BLUR UI.

Furthermore, Motorola FIRE sports a mediocre 3-megapixel camera with LED flash and video recording capabilities (480p@24fps).

User will have access to thousands of apps via Android Market, but the FIRE also comes bundled with Google's full suite, including Google Maps with Navigation, Google Talk, Google Search, Gmail and YouTube.

The FIRE packs 256 MB of RAM, 512 MB of ROM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

According to the manufacturer, the phone's 1420mAh battery should provide up to 8 hours of talk time or up to 30 days of standby in 3G mode.
