Motorola Mobility's launching calendar was very busy lately, as the company released quite a number of Android smartphones in various regions.

After recently introducing the Motorola PRO+, the handset maker plans to debut its Motorola FIRE Android smartphone in France.

According to AndroidGuys, Motorola FIRE will soon be available in France through Orange carrier, though no release date of price options have been disclosed yet.

Although this is a budget Android smartphone it appears that the French version will be a bit different than the standard Motorola FIRE.

Motorola published a press photo of the French variant that shows the device's keyboard with a different layout.

Basically, Motorola FIRE will be available with an AZERTY keyboard, instead of the standard QWERTY one.

However, the differences between the original Motorola FIRE and the 'French version' stop here, including the hardware and software configurations.

The FIRE is aimed at youngsters who are looking for a cheap Android smartphone and the means to quickly type a message and stay in contact with their friends and families.

The smartphone is powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and packs 256 MB of RAM, 512 MB of ROM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

FM radio with RDS support is another strong point of the phone, especially for those who prefer to listen to their favorite stations.

Furthermore, Motorola FIRE is equipped with a low-performance 600 MHz processor manufactured by Qualcomm and an Adreno 200 graphics processing unit.

Connectivity options are fully covered, as the phone offers users both HSDPA and HSUPA support, along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.

The phone's standard 1420 mAh Li-Ion battery should provide users with up to 720 hours of standby time or up to 8 hours of talk time in 3G mode.
