Boost Mobile, the Sprint division that offers mobile phones and services with no contract or activations fees, announced on Wednesday the launch of Motorola Debut i856w, a new fashionable device meant to attract a larger number of female consumers to its network. The new mobile phone comes to the market with stylish ivory colorin and becomes the first sliding handset that made it into Boost Mobile's offering.

“We expect Motorola Debut i856w to appeal to female consumers who desire contemporary style and superior value from their wireless phone,” Neil Lindsay, chief marketing officer, Boost Mobile, commented on the launch of the new device. “When combined with our Monthly Unlimited plan, the i856w packs both -- unlimited talk, text and wireless web service for $50 a month on a very attractive handset.”

The features list of the new handset includes nationwide Walkie-Talkie capability (over 274 million people can enjoy access to the network), a music player and standard audio jack, a 1.3-pixel photo snapper with video recording capabilities, stereo Bluetooth, MMS and SMS capabilities, GPS receiver, MicroSD memory card slot with support for up to 8GB of additional storage space, speakerphone, voice activated dialing, a color display, and the possibility to personalize the handset through downloadable wallpapers, ringtones or games.

According to the wireless carrier, the new Motorola Debut i856w comes with a great design, which combines subtle color tones, finishes, and modern graphics. Users will enjoy instant communication with the new device, as well as multimedia features, its audio and video players, threaded text messaging, or one-click access to the camera. The handset is already available for purchase from Boost Mobile's website, where it is priced at $149.99 (users will enjoy free shipping of the device, the operator notes). The wireless carrier also adds that the Motorola Debut i856w should prove a great pair for its $50 Monthly Unlimited plan that offers nationwide talk, text, and wireless Web.
