HTC Desire's ROM got ported to DROID

Motorola DROID and HTC Desire are two high-end mobile phones powered by Google's Android operating system that just got closer to one another. This is not something that their makers intended or thought of, but enthusiasts are always around, and some of them have ported the ROM of the newly spotted HTC Sense from Desire to a Motorola DROID, and they also put it all on video, so that others could also taste a little of this goodness.

[ADMARk=1]Interestingly enough, the video shows Motorola's DROID running not only the Sense solution from HTC, but also playing around with Adobe's Flash Player solution, which seems even nicer. Most of you might already know that DROID is one of the devices that will taste the Flash Player 10.1 as soon as it is released in the wild, and, even if the solution included in Desire's ROM is only an early development from Adobe, the final version should play pretty well on the handset's large touchscreen display.

Of course, HTC never intended for its Sense experience to be brought to a handset from Motorola, and that results in the lack of full compatibility with the DROID, but the video below, available courtesy of the guys over at AllDroid, will show that the two go along well enough. Motorola fans who already met the company's MotoBlur solution will probably not enjoy the idea so much, but others might actually like it.

The video will show you not only that the DROID can play the Flash solution included in HTC's Sense experience, but also the interesting combination between the handset's robotic lines and the HTC softer skin thrown over the Android operating system. The guys over at AllDroid came up with some more videos showing the Motorola DROID with Sense on board, and you can have a look at them on their website, where some screenshots and a series of details on what they achieved are also available.
