Nexus One by HTC is the first mobile phone that arrived on the market via Google's web store, and also the first one to sport the company's Android 2.1 operating system on board, but newer mobile phones announced to land on the market with Android can deliver increased functionality to users when compared to what was available only a month ago. One such example is the HTC Desire from the Taiwan-based handset vendor, which boasts both Android 2.1 on board and the company's own HTC Sense solution.

As reported before, there are some enthusiasts who already played a little with the HTC Desire ROM on the older Nexus One, bringing the Sense experience to the device, and now some more news in the area emerge. One other appealing feature that the Desire ROM packs inside is Flash Player 10.1 for Android, which has been already announced to arrive later this year for handsets powered by Google's Android 2.x OS, and which can get along pretty well with Nexus One, as can be seen in the video below.

The new HTC Sense from HTC Desire ROM has been tested on the Nexus One by the guys over at Redmond Pie, and they say that all seems to be pretty impressive, even if the handset hasn't been packed with the solution right from the start. Most probably, the fact that Desire and Nexus One are almost the same device, since they include the same hardware specs, though one comes with Sense and will land four months later than the first.

According to Redmond Pie, they tried different Flash-based sites on Nexus One, just to see how it handles the technology, and ended up playing FarmVille (facebook app) on the device, something that went pretty well in the end. The performance of the software solution was a nice one, and the 1Ghz Snapdragon processor inside Nexus One did its job. They also provided the video below, to offer other enthusiasts the possibility to see how the handset can handle Flash courtesy of HTC Desire's ROM. Additional details on the matter can be found on the news site here.
