Motorola BRAVO is now available from AT&T for $429.99 without contract or as low as $129.99 with a two-year plan. It is $30 more expensive than the Motorola FLIPSIDE, which is also available from the US major carrier starting today and comes with a full QWERTY keyboard.

The BRAVO smarpthone is powered by a TI OMAP3610 800MHz processor and runs on the Android 2.1 (Eclair) platform.

It is unclear if Motorola and AT&T will be upgrading the BRAVO and/or FLIPSIDE smartphones to Android version 2.2 (Froyo) in the future.

The device comes with a 3.7-inch FWVGA capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 480x854 pixels resolution, touch sensitive controls, MOTOBLUR UI with Live Widgets, multi-touch input method, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, proximity sensor for auto turn-off.

The MOTOBLUR interface offers users quick access to their messages from the home screen, Facebook, MySpace and Twitter syncs with the phone book and personal/work email contacts, as well as safe and secure backups of personal data on the MOTOBLUR server.

User experience while using Motorola BRAVO for calls is improved by its integrated Noise-suppression technology, which amplifies user's voice while filtering out background noise for clearer calls and better conversations.

Other key features of the Motorola BRAVO include: HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA, 2 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, microUSB 2.0, 1.3 GB internal memory, 512 MB RAM, 2 GB ROM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB included).

The device sports a 3.0-megapixel camera with autofocus, geo-tagging and video recording capabilities (CIF 352x288 @30fps).

The Li-Ion 1540 mAh is rated by the manufacturer for 240 hours in standby or 6 hours and 50 minutes for talk time.

Motorola and Android fans can choose to get the Motorola BRAVO over the FLIPSIDE if they want a bigger screen and a more powerful smartphone.
