Mobile phone maker Motorola has just launched another mobile phone in China, namely the Android-based Motorola ME600, which is none other than the recently unveiled Motorola BACKFLIP. The handset comes to the market with the company's MotoBlur solution on board, turning this way into the first smartphone Motorola launches in the country this way.

The ME600 handset that landed in China is said to come with about the same specifications as the BACKFLIP that Motorola unveiled officially in the beginning of the last month at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The price tag for the Android-based smartphone has been set at 3998 Yuan, around $587, it seems (Engadget says that Moto's Chinese portal has it available unlocked for 4,298 Yuan, or around $630).

Among the specifications that ME600 hits the market with, we can count a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A processor, coupled with 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM, a 3.1-inch touchscreen display that boasts a 480 x 320 pixel resolution, as well as a 5-megapixel photo snapper that includes LED flash. That QWERTY keyboard that made the device known is also included in the package, as the available photos show.

At the same time, the Motorola ME600 features appealing connectivity options, including WAPI (Wi-Fi) and Bluetooth 2.0 capabilities, built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS, a 1400mAh battery inside, and the Google Android 1.5 (Cupcake) operating system with the MotoBlur solution thrown over it. All in all, mobile phone users in China have the possibility to try out a pretty appealing device, that's for sure.

For the time being, it is still unknown when exactly the mobile phone lands in other markets. Motorola unveiled the BACKFLIP last month and said it would be launched soon, and there have been already a great deal of rumors regarding its appearance on AT&T's lineup, but nothing is solid at the moment. Hopefully, more users will be able to try out that QWERTY keyboard that flips in reverse in the near future.
