Not as appealing as expected though

Motorola's third Android-based mobile phone, the BACKFLIP, has just been spotted in a video promo on the Internet. The handset, as many of you might already know, comes to the market with a great new feature, a QWERTY keyboard that flips in reverse, and the clip is based mainly on showing that to the world. Other than that, one might find it rather boring, to be honest, yet it is still worth a try, so you'll find it at the bottom of this article.

The reverse flipping keyboard is not the only appealing feature of Motorola BACKFLIP, those of you who already encountered the device should know by now. Another unique and, at the same time, interesting feature of the phone is the BACKTRACK touch panel placed on the other side of the handset, and which offers a great new scrolling experience when it comes to navigating over the Internet, emails, news feeds and more.

Moreover, it also comes with a tilting display, meaning that one can watch videos on the BACKFLIP without having to hold the device in his/her hand throughout the playback. Not to mention that Motorola packed the device with the Motoblur solution, which is already known to be capable of enhancing the experience of any user. And the high-resolution 3.1-inch HVGA screen is also there for a great rendering of web pages, images and the like.

One might be able to spot some of these features in the clip below but, over all, none of them is brought into the spotlight, except maybe for the BACKTRACK touch panel. When compared to the clips we had the pleasure of viewing when the Motorola DROID was the main character, this one is indeed boring. However, its emergence shows that Motorola is set to kick off the marketing campaign for the device in the near future, and it also suggests that it shouldn't be too long before the phone arrives on shelves. That March 7 rumored launch date might just pan out in the end.
