One of the most exciting game projects to be announced by Sony was DC Universe Online, an MMO game for the PC that can also be played on PlayStation 3 consoles. Although there are no details (not even rumors) on a release date, the development of the title is clearly going on well since the people working on it have decided to come up with a fact sheet, detailing just a few of the most important features of the game - none of them mentioned in our previous article about DC Universe.

For example, we are told that the DCUO game world will span the entire DC Universe, with well known locations such as Metropolis or Gotham City. Also, all the story-driven adventures are penned by DC writers and they promise to make sure both the good as well as the evil characters will offer us some true entertainment.

Also, customization will be at maximum in the game, offering us the option to create our own hero or villain, exactly as we see fit and I am completely sure that this will become one of the most used features of DC Universe - at least after everybody will get bored with playing Superman or Batman or The Joker.

DCUO will also have the art style of renowned comic book artist Jim Lee (WildStorm Productions), who promises that the game will be authentic to the DC Universe everybody knows. And we truly hope so, because playing superheroes online with other people, both on the PC and PS3 systems is one of the things we really want to do. Hopefully, the game will be released soon enough, or else there might be a slight risk of bad reception since everybody will be used to the more Kombat-like superheroes in the upcoming MK game from Midway. But all we can do now is wait.
