Canadian carrier Mobilicity has just added the Nokia E73 and the Samsung G-Touch to its handset portfolio. This isn't an unexpected move, as both devices were announced last week and subsequently launched according to the carrier's schedule.

Although these are just 'ordinary' handsets, Mobilicity is trying to boost its portfolio and give its customers a wide range of options to choose from.

The carrier was recently rumored to have picked up the MyTouch 4G Android smartphone to be offered as HTC Emerald sometime in mid-May.

With the Samsung G-Touch, Mobilicity will have six touchscreen handsets. Also known as Samsung Gravity Touch, the feature-phone was launched on the market back in June 2010.

The slider's main attractions are the touch display, 3G support, as well as the full slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

However, the 2.8-inch TFT touchscreen is resistive, though it supports 262k colors and 240 x 320 pixels resolution. It does come with accelerometer sensor and turn-to-mute, but lacks proximity sensors.

There are only 50 MB of internal memory, but users will be able to extend it up to 16GB thanks to the included microSD card slot.

The phone is powered by a 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery that should provide up to 400 hours of standby time or up to 6 hours of talk time.

Nokia E73 is none other than the 'famous' Nokia E73 Mode, which was one of the few Nokia smartphones retailed by carriers in the U.S.

The bar smartphone comes with Symbian^1 on board, full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, HSDPA support, 250 MB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 16GB, 4GB memory card included).

The Samsung G-Touch feature-phone can be purchased for only $139.99, while the Nokia E73 Symbian smartphone is priced at $149.99, both without any type of contract.
