No need to be critical, it is just the i version of Super Mario Bros.

Everyone loves Mario, everyone loves Nintendo consoles and games, right? Well, I'm sure you know that people love Mario so much that they demanded it on their cell-phones as well. And Nintendo fulfilled that wish for them, as they should have of course. Thing is, Nintendo's last cell-phone implementation of Mario, Mobario (how original!) is somewhat identical to the Super Mario Bros. game on the old NES system.

As the description of the game also says, "The story is quite simple: Mobaria, the girlfriend of Mobario was kidnapped by the evil Pavo. You have to rescue Mobaria from Pavo's Castle, but you have to get there which is not easy. The land, the sky, the caves and even under the water are nasty enemies waiting for you. In Pavo's Castle, fireballs make your journey more difficult. And at the end you have to fight Pavo, who is really strong, you have to beat him 10 times, but take care with jumping on him."

Although the game is very complex for a cell-phone game (9 levels including a nice submarine-journey waterlevel, 12 kinds of enemies including Pavo, a continue function to resume game from the beginning of a level and 5 languages, all with improved graphics), it is practically the Super Mario Bros. of mobile games. This doesn't necessarily have to be bad. It occupies less space now, that's all. It's the Super Mario Bros i (improved). Anyway, I really can't buy the part with improved graphics. I mean, how much can visuals be improved for a couple of thousands pixels screen?
