The phone will soon hit the Japanese market

Mitsubishi D704i will be available in the near future on the Japanese market on an exclusive deal. The phone has been announced a long time ago, and it's just about time for it to see a release.

The handset is a fashionable slider phone that manages to pack many performances that will appeal especially to those who expect entertainment from their handsets above all. Mitsubishi D704i will have a music player capable of supporting some of the most frequently used media formats, such as MP3 and WMA.

Probably the most important, it will also bring the "Napster To Go" service. This means that its owner will have the chance of enjoying mobile TV services anywhere and at any time, right from their handset. Mitsubishi D704i provides a 2.4 inch LCD QVGA display, just enough in order to give a clear view on the broadcasts. A larger one would have been surely even more efficient, but TV programs will always look squeezed on a handset's screen, no matter how big it is.

This mobile phone comes at fairly comfortable sizes, with 99 x 49 x 18.6 mm and a weight of 111 grams. Some people might see it rather thick, when compared to other evolved sliders, although the increased size comes on account of the mobile TV performance.

Mitsubishi D704i also comes equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera, a rather low performance, even if it's not the phone's main feature. There is also a 2 GB microSD card slot available, to make sure that the user has just about enough of data storage space.

Mitsubishi D704i will be available starting with this month, on the 23rd, from Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo. Buyers will have the chance of choosing between four color-versions of the phone, as it will be available in red, white, brown and pink, all useful for adding a personal touch to the device. No specification on the price that this handset will come for has been made until now.
