Sony has recently released two new E-mount cameras, the A7 and A7R, which have already received quite a lot of attention from the media thanks to their impressive optical quality comparable with pricier digital SLR cameras (Nikon D800, D800E).
A month ago we heard about a rumor that Mitakon was working on a new fast aperture 50mm f/0.95 full frame lens for Sony E-mount interchangeable-lens cameras that will join the company's 35mm f/0.95 lens.
In a recent post on Chinese website Fengniao, a beta tester of the lens has posted the first image samples shot with the upcoming Mitakon 50mm f/0.95 optic. There is a little doubt regarding these images, as the depth of field should have been lower, considering the aperture at which they were shot.
Fake or not, I guess we'll just have to wait for the official announcement in order to see how well the new Mitakon 50 f/0.95 full frame E-mount lens really performs.
