Twi-hards will probably never forget Miley Cyrus for saying a while back that not only did she not understand what the fuss was all about Robert Pattinson, but also that she did not see the appeal of the “Twilight” films. Coming to deliver the final blow to all vampire productions (only figuratively, of course), the 17-year-old singer and actress admits she hates “True Blood” too.

Speaking with E! Online on a recent occasion, the star, who is now promoting her latest album, the aptly titled “Can’t Be Tamed,” reveals that, while she’s immune to Pattinson’s charms, she’s also quite unaffected by the hype surrounding “True Blood” too. The HBO show is one of the most popular at the moment – in fact, it was just renewed for another season, following the incredible reaction of the audiences to it. Critics too are singing its praises but, as far as Miley is concerned, she couldn’t care less about it.

“Thank goodness Miley Cyrus isn’t on Twitter anymore. If she was, she’d probably be hearing from a lot angry of Twilight fans, just like Emma Roberts did when she announced she was Team Jacob. […] Cyrus makes no bones about it. ‘I hate vampires,’ she says. So no Edward and Bella for her. But what about the more risqué, not-very-tame True Blood? Probably not gonna happen, either. ‘What channel is that on?’ she asks when we urge her to check out the hit bloodsucking HBO show,” E! writes.

“‘We don’t have HBO,’ she said, adding that her mom only gets ‘about 10 channels’ at their house. ‘So we don’t watch a lot of TV. We don’t know what’s on. All we have is like the Disney Channel and Nick at Nite because my sister is only 10 years old.’ Again, we tell her to give Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and the gang a chance. ‘I’ll think about it,’ she said. ‘I’ll have to YouTube it or something.’ Or, she added with a laugh, ‘You can send me the DVDs’,” the glossy magazine further says.

The Emma Roberts incident mentioned above occurred in the aftermath of her appearance on Jay Leno, where British actor Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen in the “Twilight” films) was also invited. Leno asked Roberts to choose a side and she opted for Team Jacob, though she did admit Pattinson had really nice hair in person too. Hours later, Twi-hards gave her such abuse on Twitter that she was forced to delete her account without as much as a single word.
