Miley Cyrus is again making headlines – again for her fashion choices. The singer wore a backless D&G white dress at the MTV European Music Awards 2010 and, it turns out, might have revealed a bit too much on the red carpet.

As we also noted the other day, Miley looked the very picture of sophistication on the red carpet – but some photos taken then also reveal that her outfit was a bit more daring than anyone thought.

Because the D&G tiered gown was cut low in the back, when she turned to pose while keeping her back to the photographers, Miley showed a bit too much skin, the British tab Daily Mail writes.

“The Disney star gave a glimpse of a bit more than she intended last night at the MTV EMAs in Madrid when she exposed most of her breast – as well as displaying a rather delicately placed tattoo,” the publication says.

The tattoo in question is a spelling of “Breathe,” which is a reminder of how she’s to always take things in their stride and never for granted, Miley once said. It’s placed on her ribcage, underneath the breast.

The piece, it would seem, carries a lot of significance for the singer even if, at least in theory, she’s not yet of legal age to get a tattoo.

“The script handwriting is her mother’s, and the meaning is significant: One of Miley’s closest friends died of cystic fibrosis in 2007, and both of her grandfathers died of lung cancer,” a piece in Harper’s Bazaar wrote shortly after she got it, as we also informed you at the time.

“It reminds me not to take things for granted, I mean, breathing – that was something none of them could do, the most basic thing. And I put it near my heart because that is where they will always be,” Miley herself explained.

Back to Miley’s revealing dress, though such mishaps are not as uncommon on the red carpet, as one might believe, some media outlets and even fans see Miley’s as outrageous because it’s a clear sign she’s desperate to grow up and be treated like an adult.
