Film set for release in July 2011

Director Michael Bay has forgotten stunner Megan Fox for all the bad-mouthing she’s done in the media at his expense and is ready to welcome her back to the third film in the franchise. According to a recent announcement on his official blog, “Transformers 3” will drop on July 1, 2011, will include Fox among the cast and production for it has already started.

Although Fox has repeatedly complained to basically any media outlet that would listen to her about Bay’s bad manners and more than controlling ways on the set, it seems there is no bad blood between the two. Not only is Michael Bay welcoming the actress back with open arms, but he can also assure her that he will personally make sure she will come to no harm when running from robots and ducking explosions during filming.

“Well its [sic] official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012. Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.” Michael Bay writes on his website. Not that the announcement comes to surprise anyone, since an older post on the same blog also said that the director was working on making the third film happen sooner than initially estimated.

Bad blood or no bad blood, though, Bay doesn’t let Fox that easily off the hook. In a P.S. to the above post, the director addresses his female star directly, telling her to not dread the start of production because he’ll take care of her as she deserves. In the same note, Bay also jokes about some “side-effects” that may occur while Fox shoots for “Transformers 3,” for which reason she should consult a physician before actually coming to set to work.

“P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.” Bay writes.
