MetroPCS Communications, Inc., the leading provider of low-cost, flat-rate unlimited wireless communications services with no signed contract, announced recently the expansion of its coverage to Texarkana and extended areas in East Texas. According to the company, the new expansion includes cities in East Texas such as Mount Vernon and will cover Mount Pleasant later this summer. In addition, the wireless carrier also offers its services in Dallas/Fort Worth, Waco, Tyler, Longview, Marshall, Kilgore and Shreveport and Bossier City, La.

MetroPCS is a committed member of the East Texas community, bringing cost-effective wireless solutions to its residents,” said Tracy Lange, vice president and general manager, MetroPCS Dallas. “This expansion further exemplifies MetroPCS’ commitment to its customers, creating an extensive coverage area, spanning from Dallas/Fort Worth south to Waco, west to Mineral Wells, and now including more East Texas coverage providing continuous highway service to Shreveport/Bossier City and Texarkana.”

The carrier further announced that the expansion of its service also included the presence of seven authorized dealer locations in Texarkana, as well as of one authorized in Mount Vernon, and two in Mount Pleasant. As many of you might already know, MetroPCS comes to users with a diverse selection of service plans, enabling them to talk 24 hours a day, and these services are now available for residents of Texarkana as well.

MetroPCS allows users to pay by the month, and not by the minute, without being required a signed contract, deposit or credit check. The carrier's service plans start at $30 per month, yet it also offers unlimited long-distance calls to the 48 continental United States and Puerto Rico for only $35 per month. Moreover, the first month is included with the purchase of a mobile phone, and no activation fee or hidden charges are present in the company's offering.
