Wireless carrier MetroPCS is reported to plan on adding to its offering two new rather interesting handsets, one coming from Huawei, the M750, and the other, the C90, coming from ZTE. Both devices are said to have passed through FCC's courtyard, which means that it shouldn't be long before the operator makes them available.

The first phone to come to the carrier is the ZTE C90, recently approved to work with AWS bands. The device comes in a sliding form factor with a full QWERTY keyboard for easy messaging, supports tri-band CDMA radios, and features stereo Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 2GB of additional storage space.

Other specifications of the phone include a 1.3-megapixel photo snapper, GPS receiver, and a media player. For the time being, it seems that the handset hasn't been officially announced by its manufacturer, and no word from a US carrier regarding its launch surfaced either, yet the AWS band support suggests that it could work on MetroPCS' networks, as well as on Cricket's frequencies. The are no details on when the ZTE C90 will come to the market

The second handset in the line, Huawei M750, comes towards MetroPCS' users with a full-touch display, and has been spotted at FCC featuring the carrier's logo, which makes it a certain future addition to its lineup. There are no details on when the device will actually become available, but that should happen before the end of the ongoing year.

When it comes to its capabilities, the Huawei M750 proves to be a basic phone, sporting a simple design, Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.3-megapixel photo snapper, and an 1150 mAh battery. No details on the size and resolution of the display are known at the moment. Hopefully, more info on the specifications of the phone will become available in the near future, along with more details on availability, so stay tuned to learn the news.
