14 DAY TRIAL // Though they went all out of their way to make sure their romance and subsequent breakup slip by under the radar in terms of coverage in the tabloid media, it would seem that the Mel Gibson – Oksana Grigorieva situation is getting really nasty and complicated. New allegations have emerged and they seem to confirm a very recent story about how Mel was aggressive to his now ex-girlfriend.
In fact, during one particular dispute, the famous actor and director got so enraged he actually beat up Oksana – and left her with a few missing teeth and in bad need of medical assistance, TMZ has learned. Sources close to the Russian singer tell the paparazzi agency and celebrity gossip website that Mel literally smashed Oksana’s teeth and she had to go see a dentist to have them repaired because of it. Medical records are also available to prove she’s not telling lies.
“Oksana Grigorieva did indeed go to the dentist for teeth repairs after her confrontation with Mel Gibson on January 6, TMZ has learned. The question... was the damage done at the hands of one Mel Gibson? TMZ broke the story... Oksana claims Mel struck her in the face twice during a heated argument, knocking out teeth and giving her a concussion. Now we’ve learned there are photos of the damage to Oksana’s teeth and, we’re told, medical records showing she went to a dentist the following day,” TMZ writes.
“Sources connected with Oksana tell TMZ one tooth was completely knocked out and another was chipped. Sources connected with Mel, however, tell TMZ Oksana’s teeth were not damaged... just the veneers, and the source says Mel didn’t cause the damage. The source adds, ‘Mel has no idea what she did after he left the house.’ TMZ broke the story... Oksana has several recordings of arguments with Mel she secretly taped. Sources connected with Oksana say the tapes incriminate Mel in the January 6 incident. Sources connected with Mel beg to differ,” the same media outlet further writes.
As accusations are being thrown back and forth by both parties, the former couple’s daughter, Lucia, might be the one who ends up hurt the most, it is also being said. On one hand, her mother claims she did not see a dime since she and Mel broke up. On the other, Gibson’s attorneys insist the actor has taken up more than a fair share of his ex’s expenses with the child, including setting her up in a new home, buying her a car and paying her a monthly allowance. Now, it has come to this: amidst allegations of abuse and lying to the media, the two are also fighting for the custody of the 7-month baby girl.
