Meizu M9, the iPhone 4 knockoff has gone live with spec and its own website that looks super-crispy and eye-candy. The company's CEO, Jack Wong said the handset will be available in several Chinese major cities starting December 25th

Apparently, there are also some bad new as the Meizu M9 will only be available in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, due to the limited production capacity of the manufacturer.

However, Wong stated that fans of the brand will be able to get the M9 “in a few days” after the device is officially launched on the market.

Amazing or not, but Meizu M9 is powered by a Samsung S5PC110 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor, which the same CPU that powers Google's Nexus S smartphone.

According to the phone's spec-sheet posted on the website, the M9 runs on Android 2.2 platform and includes 8GB or 16GB internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Things are getting better and better, as Meizu M9 is said to come with Sharp's ASV display, which looking ridiculously crisp regardless of the viewing angle. Obviously, it has the same 960 x 460 pixels resolution and support for multi-touch.

The M9 packs a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and HD video recording support. The device measures 59.8×113.0×11.2mm and weighs 123g (battery included), which makes it lighter than the iPhone 4.

The phone is said to feature support for a wide range of mobile networks and technologies such as GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA and HSUPA.

Other key features listed on the phone's website include: Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, built-in GPS receiver, microUSB port, 3.5-mm stereo headphone jack, built-in accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.

Unlike the iPhone 4, Meizu M9 comes with a removable 1370mAh lithium-ion battery, but there's no information regarding its autonomy.
